Youth Dialogue Focuses on Education and Nation Building
During a 'Yuva Samvad' (Youth Dialogue) program held at the Patharia College Auditorium in Damoh on October 29, 2026, Minister of State for the Department of Anand, Lakhan Patel, shed light on the expansion of the education system and the role of youth in nation-building.
The Minister of State emphasized the state government's commitment to providing superior academic facilities to students, highlighting a significant expansion of schools. "The state government is committed to providing better educational facilities to students, and in this direction, schools have been extensively expanded," he stated.
Ensuring Educational Access Across the State
Minister of State Patel outlined the government's strategy to ensure accessibility to educational institutions. "Now, a middle school is ensured within every three-kilometer radius, a high school within five kilometers, and a higher secondary school between every four high schools in the state," he explained.
He expressed satisfaction with the increasing participation of girls in educational institutions. "Today, the number of female students among children studying in educational institutions is quite high," Patel noted, underscoring the government's focus on improving infrastructure at both school and college levels. He stressed the importance of current students in shaping the nation's future.
Youth Engagement and Nation Building
Attendees at the program posed various questions to the Minister of State on diverse topics, which he addressed comprehensively. Minister of State Lakhan Patel advocated for the continuous organization of such dialogue programs to address youth queries and enhance their understanding of their role in nation-building.
BJP District President Shyam Shivhare also addressed the youth, stating, "The right direction utilization of youth's energy, talent, and capability is extremely important for nation-building." He described youth as the foundation for the country's progress and positive change, urging them to actively participate in national development.
