The city wing of the Congress party has formally lodged a protest, submitting a memorandum to the Authority Chairman demanding a fair investigation into the process.

Led by Rizwan Ali Koti, spokesperson for the City Congress Committee, the memorandum urges a thorough probe into all appointments made post-retirement. The Congress party is questioning the legality and transparency of these appointments and is seeking a clear explanation of the procedures and rules followed.
Financial Accountability and Youth Opportunity
“The Jabalpur Development Authority must clarify the total salary and remuneration spent on these contractual appointments of retired officials to date,” stated Rizwan Ali Koti. He emphasized that the issue is not about opposing individuals but about institutional accountability and transparency to prevent any suspicion of financial irregularities.
The Congress has also expressed deep concern that repeatedly offering opportunities to retired individuals limits vacancies for qualified and educated unemployed youth. They believe local youth deserve a fair chance to serve the Authority based on their merit. The memorandum also calls for strict action against those responsible if any violation of government rules is found.

Other Congress officials, including Badal Panjwani, Kapil Bhojak, Zafar Khan, Ejaz Ansari, Sikandar Khan, and Shafi Khan, were present when the memorandum was submitted.
