Peaceful Festivities Ensured by Police Vigilance

The Navratri and Dussehra festivals in the Deori subdivision of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, concluded this year in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. The active role of the police administration in maintaining law and order and instilling a sense of security among citizens is being lauded.

SDOP's Proactive Approach Praised

The working style of the subdivision's Deputy Superintendent of Police (SDOP), Arun Kumar Uike, has become a talking point. Since assuming charge, he has emphasized crime control and the resolution of public grievances. SDOP Uike clarified that the police's top priority is to deliver justice to victims and take strict action against offenders according to established legal procedures.

Comprehensive Security Measures Implemented

Extensive security arrangements were in place during Navratri and Dussehra to keep a close watch on anti-social elements and prevent any untoward incidents. Police officers were instructed to maintain special vigilance not only in Deori town but also in the police station areas of Gorjhamar, Kesli, Tada, and Maharajpur within the subdivision.

Strategic Security Plan Execution

This special security strategy was formulated under the guidance of Sagar Division's Inspector General of Police (IG) Iqbal Bali, Superintendent of Police (SP) Anurag Sujania, and Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Narendra Solanki. Officials directed police personnel to remain active at the ground level and establish coordination with the public, resulting in an atmosphere of peace and security throughout the festival period.

Citizen Relief and Appreciation

Local citizens expressed relief over the maintenance of peace during the festivals. They believe that the police's proactive engagement and the strong coordination among various station in-charges were the primary reasons for the peaceful conclusion of the celebrations. Residents appreciated the feeling of celebrating festivals in a safe environment.

Future Plans and Public-Police Coordination

SDOP Arun Kumar Uike assured that law and order would continue to be maintained in both urban and rural areas, while also raising public awareness against illegal activities. He emphasized the establishment of strong coordination between the police and the public for effective crime prevention. Citizens are hopeful that this continued police vigilance will further strengthen their confidence in the region's security.
