Second Victim Dies from Blast Injuries
Ishu Chaurasia, who was injured in a powerful explosion at the residence of former Samajwadi Party MLA Vijay Singh in Farrukhabad on March 17th, passed away on Saturday. This brings the total number of fatalities from the incident to two.
Chaurasia had been receiving treatment at home, but his condition suddenly worsened on Saturday morning, and he breathed his last. The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination and are investigating the matter.
Explosion at Former MLA's Residence
The explosion occurred on March 17th at the residence of former MLA Vijay Singh in Nalamachcharhatta. A loud blast at the time caused widespread panic. Half a dozen people were critically injured in the accident, including the former MLA's two sons, Abhishek alias Sikki and Avinash alias Vicky, as well as Bhaiya Lal from Noorpur and 28-year-old Ishu Chaurasia, son of Ghanshyam Chaurasia.
Previous Fatality in the Incident
Approximately four months after the incident, Bhaiya Lal died during treatment in Kanpur. With the death of Ishu Chaurasia, the death toll from this incident has now risen to two.
Family Mourns Loss
Ishu Chaurasia's treatment was being conducted at his home. His sudden deterioration in health plunged his family into mourning. Ishu is survived by his five-year-old son, Ansh. His mother, Mithilesh, and wife, Muskan, are inconsolable.
Investigation Underway
Police are investigating the causes of the explosion and gathering information about the events that transpired at the time of the incident. Further clarity on the cause of death is expected after the post-mortem report is received. The incident had sent shockwaves through the region, and with two deaths, the gravity of the case has intensified.
