National Lok Adalat Scheduled for Bhind on September 12

Following the directives of the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur, a National Lok Adalat will be organized in the Bhind district on September 12, 2026. The event will take place at the District Court Bhind as well as at the Tehsil Courts in Lahad, Gohad, and Mehgaon.

This significant legal initiative aims to ensure a swift and amicable resolution of cases for ordinary citizens. To promote the National Lok Adalat widely, a special publicity vehicle was flagged off from the ADR Centre located in the District Court premises.

Promoting Access to Justice

The Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, K.S. Baria, highlighted the importance of the Lok Adalat while flagging off the vehicle. He informed attendees about how the National Lok Adalat provides an easy and accessible platform for resolving disputes through mutual consent.

Publicity Vehicle to Reach Citizens

The publicity vehicle is intended to travel to various areas of Bhind city and surrounding villages to disseminate information about the upcoming National Lok Adalat. As part of this campaign, Paralegal Volunteer Ramadhar Purohit is distributing pamphlets to the public, detailing the benefits and procedures of the Lok Adalat.

The primary objective is to ensure that a larger number of people can avail themselves of this judicial process and get their pending cases settled quickly. This initiative will also help reduce the workload on the courts and increase the efficiency of the justice system.
