Youth Arrested for Causing Panic at Bhind District Hospital
Bhind District Hospital was plunged into chaos on Saturday night around 10 PM following a shooting incident. A youth fired an illegal weapon near the hospital's bicycle stand before fleeing on his motorcycle, raising the alertness of local authorities.
Upon receiving information, the City Kotwali Police immediately launched an investigation. Under the direction of the Superintendent of Police and Station House Officer, the investigation team reviewed CCTV footage from the hospital and surrounding areas, while also activating informants to gather intelligence.
As a result of this swift and well-planned action, 22-year-old Jilewar Singh Rajawat, a resident of Krishna Colony, was arrested by the police.
Motive: To Evade Bicycle Stand Fees
The confession made by the accused during interrogation was shocking. Jilewar Singh Rajawat revealed that he committed the act to avoid paying the fee for parking his motorcycle at the hospital's bicycle stand.
He concocted this plan while under the influence of alcohol, believing that firing a gun would make people perceive him as a thug and instill fear, thus preventing the stand employees from asking him for money in the future.
Illegal Weapon Recovered, Accused Sent to Jail
City Kotwali Station House Officer Anita Gurjar stated that the illegal weapon used in the incident has been recovered from the accused's possession. The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections.
He was produced before the Honourable Court on Sunday, from where he has been sent to judicial custody. The swift action by the police has brought relief to the local citizens, as an individual who took the law into his own hands has been apprehended in a timely manner.
