Balrampur | September 15, 2026 | Satish Sharma, the in-charge minister for Balrampur district and Minister of State for Food and Logistics and Civil Supplies in the Uttar Pradesh government, conducted a thorough inspection of the Composite School and Anganwadi Center in Ghusaah, located in the development block area. During the visit, he assessed the ground reality of the education system.

Minister Satish Sharma's surprise inspection was aimed at evaluating the quality of education being imparted to children and the nutritional facilities available. His arrival signifies the government's commitment to education and child development in the region. The minister visited the school's classrooms and asked children questions on various subjects.

He personally read books with the children to gauge their reading ability and academic understanding. This initiative was not merely a formality, but the minister actively engaged with the children's learning process to directly understand their academic levels. Furthermore, he reviewed the school's facilities, including the library, playground, and classroom conditions. He also gathered detailed information about the children's interests and challenges to address their needs effectively.

Nutrition Assessment and Annaprashan Ceremony

Following the inspection of the composite school, in-charge Minister Satish Sharma visited the Anganwadi Center. Here, he conducted a detailed review of the nutritional arrangements provided to the children. He checked the availability and quality of nutritious food essential for the health and development of the children.

During the visit, he performed the Annaprashan Sanskar for a child, a significant ritual in Indian culture, demonstrating the government's respect for traditional and cultural values. He also distributed fruits and biscuits among the children present, an effort to provide immediate nutrition and bring joy to them.

Addressing the Anganwadi workers, the minister provided necessary guidelines regarding the center's arrangements, child attendance, and nutrition distribution. He emphasized that the state government's primary objective is to provide children with quality education and better nutrition. He encouraged the workers to perform their duties with full dedication and diligence.

The minister assured that efforts are continuously being made at the governance level to strengthen the facilities of these centers and that any issues will be resolved on a priority basis.

Essential Directives Issued to Officials

Senior members of the local administration and political parties also participated in this important inspection program. These included BJP District President Ravi Kumar Mishra, Utraula MLA Ram Pratap Verma, District Media In-charge DP Singh Bais, Chief Development Officer Himanshu Gupta, District Basic Education Officer Vikas Chandra Srivastava, and Block Education Officer Ghanshyam Verma, along with relevant departmental officials and staff.

In-charge Minister Satish Sharma instructed all concerned officials to further improve discipline and the standard of teaching within the school premises. He made it clear that any negligence would not be tolerated and there would be no compromise on the quality of education. A call was made for collective effort to create an educational environment where children can acquire knowledge fearlessly.
