Gurukul Academy, Balrampur, celebrated its Investiture Ceremony for the 2026-27 academic session, appointing new student leaders.

The Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected student office bearers of Gurukul Academy, Maheshbhari, Balrampur district, for the academic session 2026-27 was held with great dignity on Saturday.
During the ceremony, the school's young leaders were presented with badges and entrusted with their positions and responsibilities. They took an oath to perform their duties with honesty, discipline, a spirit of service, and leadership skills.
The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and the 'Vandana' of Goddess Saraswati, in line with the school's customs. The future leaders of the school were selected, with Lav Kush appointed as Head Boy, Porvi as Head Girl, Govind as Deputy Head Boy, and Anshika as Deputy Head Girl. These four will play a significant role in managing the school's academic and cultural activities.
Responsibilities Assigned to House Office Bearers
Student office bearers from the school's four houses – Aero, Ignes, Flora, and Aqua – were also presented with badges and informed about their duties.
The responsibilities for the positions were handed over to Shivansh as Captain and Suraj as Vice-Captain of Aero House; Jay Pratap as Captain and Khushi as Vice-Captain of Ignes House; Ram Niwas as Captain and Prashant as Vice-Captain of Flora House; and Shivam as Captain and Dhruvi as Vice-Captain of Aqua House.
In addition to these, House Prefects from various houses were also honored. These included Bhumi, Ritik, and Laxman from Ignes House; Pavni, Laxman, and Vivek from Flora House; Solomon, Hariom, and Yogesh from Aqua House; and Priyanshu, Ghanshyam, and Abhimanyu from Aero House.
School Manager Emphasizes Leadership and Discipline
The school manager, Umesh Mishra, congratulated all the newly appointed student office bearers. He stated that they would serve as a source of inspiration for other students through their leadership, discipline, sense of responsibility, and excellent work ethic.
He stressed that these students would play a crucial role in upholding the school's dignity and excellent traditions. The manager expected the student leaders to perform their duties diligently and contribute to the overall development of the school.
The ceremony concluded with the students taking an oath to remain dedicated to the school's ideals, followed by the National Anthem. This Investiture Ceremony marked a significant step towards promoting youth leadership and fostering a sense of responsibility among students.
