District Magistrate Addresses Public Grievances

At the 'Tehsil Samadhan Diwas' organized in the Amritpur Tehsil of Farrukhabad, District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lather listened attentively to the public grievances of citizens. He issued clear directives to the concerned departmental officials, emphasizing the need to ensure qualitative, impartial, and timely resolution of each case.

The District Magistrate stated that the primary objective of this event, in line with the government's intent, is to provide prompt and effective solutions to citizens' problems. During this Samadhan Diwas, a total of 138 cases were received.

Resolution of Cases

  • Revenue Department: 55 cases
  • Police Department: 26 cases
  • Development Department: 22 cases
  • Electricity Department: 06 cases
  • Food and Logistics Department: 08 cases
  • Other Departments: 21 cases

Out of these, 04 cases were resolved on the spot. The received complaints primarily pertained to land disputes, measurements, possession, roads, drainage, electricity supply, pensions, and other public amenities.

Emphasis on Quality Resolution

District Magistrate Dr. Lather directed officials to verify complaints received from Revenue, Police, Development, Electricity, Irrigation, Rural Development, Social Welfare, and other departments by visiting the sites. He instructed them to ensure resolution according to regulations.

He warned that any undue delay or negligence in resolving a complaint would not be tolerated. Instructions were also given to prioritize and resolve serious cases and to provide relief to complainants as per rules.

Inspection of Plantation and Tourism Development

Following the Samadhan Diwas, the District Magistrate also participated in a tree plantation drive at the Amritpur Tehsil premises. He appealed to the public to plant trees in their lives to ensure a clean and healthy environment for future generations.

Subsequently, he inspected the Kuthla Lake and inquired about the progress of development works planned by the Tourism Department, considering the potential for tourism development there. The District Magistrate instructed the concerned officials to ensure proper cleanliness of the lake and to complete the necessary work for tourism development, thereby promoting local tourism and benefiting the public from various schemes.

Present on this occasion were Superintendent of Police Smt. Aarti Singh, Chief Development Officer Vinod Kumar Gaur, Divisional Director Social Forestry Rajiv Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sweta Sahu, Project Director DRDA Kapil Kumar, Circle Officer Amritpur, Tehsildar Shashank Singh, along with district and tehsil level officials from various departments.
