Collector Engages Villagers, Discusses Schemes and Land Titles
In an effort to foster direct communication, Collector Pawan Jain interacted with villagers in Khader village, Gohad block, Bhind district, on Friday as part of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan. The discussion focused on the implementation of government schemes, addressing villagers' concerns, and the significance of registering land leases.
During the program held at the Gram Panchayat Bhavan, the Collector detailed the ongoing process of registering leases for occupancy land under the Swamitva Yojana. He emphasized that securing these registrations would not only safeguard legal rights to their homes but also facilitate easier access to loans against their residential properties. This initiative is particularly crucial for residents lacking ownership documents, offering them enhanced economic and social security.
Environmental Protection Emphasized, Stubble Burning Discouraged
Collector Pawan Jain also highlighted the severe repercussions of stubble burning in fields. He explained that this practice degrades soil fertility, pollutes the environment, and negatively impacts air quality. He strongly advised against burning crop residue, stressing the necessity of its proper management.
Villagers were informed about alternative methods for managing crop residues, enabling them to dispose of their harvest waste without causing environmental harm. The administration provided guidance on eco-friendly practices to protect the environment.
Review of Schemes and Redressal of Grievances
The dialogue session included a review of the progress and implementation of various key schemes, such as the Acharya Vidyasagar Yojana, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Yojana, the public distribution system, social security pension schemes, and the functioning of Anganwadi centers.
The Collector issued strict directives to officials, reiterating that the core objective of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan is the timely resolution of public grievances. He stressed the importance of ensuring that benefits of schemes reach eligible individuals on a priority basis and without delay. Any form of negligence or corruption will not be tolerated.
Present at the event were District Panchayat CEO Veersingh Chauhan, SDM Gohad Vikas Kemour, Janpad CEO, and other senior departmental officials. This administrative initiative provides villagers a direct platform to voice their concerns and receive information about various schemes, fostering good governance and public welfare.
