Dial-112 Responds to Poisoning Emergency

The emergency service 'Dial-112' of the Madhya Pradesh Police has once again played a crucial role in saving a young man's life, showcasing its promptness, human sensitivity, and dedication to duty. The youth, found in a critical, unconscious state after consuming a poisonous substance (sulphos), received timely medical treatment due to the swift action of Dial-112 and local police in the Hardua Chowki area of Simariya police station in Panna district, thereby saving his life.

Call Traced, Location Identified

A call for assistance was received at the State Level Control Room, Dial-112 Bhopal, from a young man who stated he had ingested poison. Due to his severe condition, he was unable to clearly provide his location or complete information. Despite this, the Control Room promptly traced the call's location using technical means.

Rapid Response and Rescue Operation

This information was immediately relayed to Simariya police station, Hardua Chowki police, and the Dial-112 FRV. Upon receiving the immediate response and life-saving alert, the police team rushed to the specified area without delay and began searching for the young man based on the traced location. The youth was found unconscious under a teak tree near Padariya Mor, with his motorcycle parked nearby and sulphos tablets scattered around. His condition appeared extremely serious.

Expedited Transport to Medical Facility

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Dial-112 pilot Devendra Kushwaha and constable Vinod Dwivedi immediately placed the youth in their vehicle and departed for the Community Health Centre in Pawai. The police team covered a distance of approximately 55 kilometers in just 40 minutes, ensuring the young man reached the hospital on time. Doctors commenced immediate treatment upon his arrival.

Timely Treatment Proves Crucial

Following initial treatment, the youth was referred to District Hospital Katni for further advanced care. According to the doctors, his life was saved solely due to his timely arrival at the hospital.
