Grand Welcome for Cooperation Minister in Balrampur

JPS Rathore, the Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge), received a grand welcome on Saturday at the border of Balrampur district from officials and public representatives of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Party workers presented him with bouquets, felicitated him, and conveyed best wishes on his arrival in the district.

This welcome event highlighted the organizational structure and regional leadership's activeness within the BJP, with senior party leaders and local representatives uniting to greet the minister. Minister Rathore's arrival in Balrampur was viewed as a significant occasion, given his crucial role in the development of the cooperative sector in Uttar Pradesh.

The warm reception for the Cooperation Minister underscores the efforts of the Uttar Pradesh government to implement cooperative policies at the grassroots level. JPS Rathore has also been honored with the ‘Sahakarita Ratna Award’ by the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) for his contributions to the cooperative sector. This award was presented to him in May 2024 at an event organized by IFFCO in Delhi.

During his tenure, positive messages regarding fertilizer availability in the state have been communicated, with the minister stating in July 2025 that there was no shortage of fertilizer in the state. His visit to Balrampur is considered significant for accelerating cooperative-related schemes and development projects at the local level.
