Bhopal Municipal Corporation intensifies crackdown on stray cattle, impounding 27 and sheltering 4 injured animals.
Municipal Corporation Launches Intensive Cattle Removal Drive
The Bhopal Municipal Corporation has launched a rigorous campaign against cattle roaming freely on the city's streets, pavements, and other public spaces. As part of this operation, Corporation personnel have apprehended 27 animals and sent them to the Kanji House.
In addition to this, 4 sick and injured animals have been provided shelter at the Ashra Veterinary Hospital for treatment. The action was taken by the staff of the Corporation's Govardhan Project branch in various sensitive areas of the city, as per the directives of Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Sanskriti Jain.

Facilitating Traffic and Public Order
During the campaign, the Corporation's 'Hanka Party' successfully removed 15 cattle from the roads. This action is considered a significant step towards easing traffic congestion and preventing encroachments on public areas.
The Municipal Corporation has also transferred 20 cattle from the Khajuri Kanji House to the Krishnagopal Dungariya Gaushala. This ongoing initiative aims to reduce the problems and accident risks caused by the increasing number of stray cattle in public spaces.
