Bhind Police Apprehends Culprit with Stolen Electricity Materials within 48 Hours
Bhind Police successfully solved an electricity line material theft case within 48 hours, arresting one accused and recovering stolen goods and the vehicle used.

In a swift operation, the Bhind Police have cracked a case of theft involving valuable electricity line materials in the Dehat police station area. The police apprehended an accused and recovered all the stolen items along with the car used in the crime, just 48 hours after the incident.
The action was initiated based on a complaint filed by an electrical contractor. Alok Senger, an electrical contractor from Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, reported the theft at the Dehat police station on September 13. He stated that wires, insulators, B-crosses, and a tractor battery, kept for the installation of a new electricity line in the area, were stolen by unknown individuals.
Investigation and Arrest
Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case under Section 303(2) BNS, Crime Number 621/26, and commenced an investigation. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, a special team was formed under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma, Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Patel, and City Superintendent of Police Niranjan Singh Rajput.
Led by Dehat Station House Officer Inspector Shivpratap Singh Rajawat, the team meticulously analyzed CCTV footage from the vicinity of the crime scene. Utilizing technical evidence and precise information from informants, the police successfully apprehended the accused on Charthar Road.
Recovered Items and Further Interrogation
During the search of the arrested accused, the police recovered all the stolen valuable materials. This included 17 B-crosses, 10 clamps, 54 insulators, and 15 kilograms of electrical wire. Additionally, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 car, bearing registration number MP 07 AD 5941, which was used in the commission of the crime, was also seized.
The police are currently conducting extensive interrogation of the arrested individual to gather information about other incidents and potential accomplices. The successful and prompt action by the police is expected to curb the activities of active criminal gangs operating in the region. Key roles in this operation were played by Sub-Inspector Vijay Shivhare, Head Constables Gurudas Sohi, Ramakant Sharma, Rajveer Pippal, and Constables Kamal Tomar, Ajit Sikwar, Bhupendra Tomar, Gyanendra Mishra, Awadhesh Chauhan, Firoz Khan, Atul Pandey, Aditya Chauhan, and Manish Mishra.
