Unprecedented Initiative by Vikas Manch for PET Candidates
During the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) organized by the Uttar Pradesh government, a non-governmental organization, Vikas Manch, has taken a unique initiative in the Farrukhabad district to facilitate thousands of students who traveled from outside. For candidates arriving at various examination centers set up in Farrukhabad for the exams held on October 25, October 30, and November 1, completely free arrangements for lodging and food were made at Vishambhar Dayal Dharamshala.
Dedicated Service Led by Bhaiyaan Mishra
This service was led by Bhaiyaan Mishra, the District President of Vikas Manch. His team assisted students from other districts by putting up information boards at the railway station and bus stand, guiding them to the Dharamshala. Over eight hundred candidates and their accompanying guardians from various districts such as Azamgarh, Sitapur, Hardoi, Lucknow, Unnao, Kanpur, and Shahjahanpur benefited from these arrangements.
Ninth Consecutive Year of Providing Home-like Facilities
Bhaiyaan Mishra, District President of Vikas Manch, stated that this is the eleventh time his organization has organized such facilities for students. He mentioned that previously, students often had to spend nights on roads, pavements, or at railway stations when coming for exams, which led to the initiation of this noble work. This initiative not only relieved candidates of accommodation worries but also provided them with an environment akin to their hometown.
Gratitude and Positive Impact
Students returning to their home districts after taking the exam expressed their gratitude for the human support and arrangements received in Farrukhabad. They stated that they would always remember this warmth and excellent organization. A large number of volunteers, including Angad Pandey, Prince Shukla, Shyamendra Dubey, Om Nivas Pathak, Nishit Dubey, Ayush Saxena, and Rajiv Verma, contributed wholeheartedly to this service. This humanitarian effort not only reduced the difficulties of external students but also promoted a positive image of the district.
