Health Camp for New Female Recruits Concludes in Bhopal

A successful two-day health camp aimed at improving the health of new female police recruits undergoing training at the Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhopal, has concluded. The camp was held on September 19 and 20, 2026, at the Police Training School, Bhopal, with a total of 274 trainees participating.

Organized under the directives of the Special Director General of Police (Training) and guided by Mr. Ramji Srivastava, Deputy Director of the Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhopal, the health check-up camp was conducted in collaboration with LBS Hospital, Bhopal. The objective was to ensure that female constables do not suffer from any health issues during their training and remain physically robust.

Health Check-ups Included Various Examinations

This camp, conducted under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Mrs. Yasmin Zahra, saw health examinations of the trainees by Mr. Harvinder Singh, Nodal Officer of LBS Hospital Bhopal, renowned gynecologist Dr. Vaishali Pathak, and general physician Dr. Haroon Siddiqui. During the camp, essential health checks, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and blood profiles, were performed on the trainees.

On the first day of the camp, priority was given to trainees experiencing disruptions in their training due to persistent health problems. A total of 104 female constables underwent health examinations on the first day. Dr. Vaishali Pathak provided them with necessary treatment and crucial health-related counseling.

274 Trainees Benefited from the Camp

On the second day of the camp, the remaining 170 trainees were medically examined. Thus, a comprehensive health check-up for a total of 274 new female constables was completed over the two days. The doctors not only conducted physical examinations but also guided the trainees on necessary precautions for staying healthy and methods for maintaining their optimal health.

In Madhya Pradesh's police training institutions, the physical and mental health of police trainees is considered an integral part of training quality. This provision of health check-ups and necessary medical counseling ensures that trainees can complete their training effectively with good health and improved physical capacity, which will ultimately aid in strengthening the state's law and order.
