Teenager Returns Home Safely After Police Intervention

Bareilly, September 21, 2026 – A 17-year-old boy from the BHOJIPUR police station area in Bareilly left his home on the night of September 20 after becoming upset about not being given a new mobile phone. Following a report from his worried family, the police promptly initiated a search operation and successfully recovered the teenager.

The incident reportedly occurred around 10 PM when the teenager left home after his demands were not met. When he did not return late at night, his family immediately contacted the police helpline, Dial-112. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, the Station House Officer quickly formed a special police team.

Extensive Search Operation Yields Results

The police team began searching the teenager's potential locations. During the search, the team conducted a large-scale, intensive checking operation in the areas around the Itaua River and canal. The swift and active action by the police yielded results within a few hours.

The teenager was found in a safe condition in the area between the river and the canal. After completing preliminary formalities, the police safely handed the teenager back to his family. His family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the police team for the safe return of their child.
