Bhind | September 21, 2026 | The district administration and police in Bhind have outlined a comprehensive traffic management plan in anticipation of millions of devotees attending the upcoming Budhwa Mangal fair at the renowned Siddhpeeth Dandraua Dham.

To prevent accidents and ensure smooth movement, heavy and large vehicles will be completely prohibited from entering key routes around the fairgrounds. This traffic restriction, detailed in an official order by Collector Kirodi Lal Meena, will be in effect from September 21 to September 23, 2026.

Traffic Restrictions and Affected Routes

Under various sections of the Motor Vehicles Act, this arrangement will impact the Bhind-Mehgaon-Malanpur, Gormi-Mau-Sevdha, Bhind-Amaan-Mau, Gohad-Jhankri-Mau, and Lahar-Amaan-Mau routes. The movement of heavy vehicles like trucks and dumpers will be strictly forbidden on these stretches.

Facilitating Devotees and Ensuring Safety

The administration has clarified that two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and light four-wheelers will be permitted on these routes for the convenience of devotees and local residents. Heavy commercial vehicles will be diverted to alternative routes, a decision made to safely and efficiently transport the large number of pilgrims attending the fair.

Dandraua Dham, celebrated for its religious significance, hosts the Budhwa Mangal fair as a major event for devotees. Additional police forces have been deployed to bolster security, with police outposts established at various points for traffic monitoring.

Traffic police will maintain constant surveillance through point-to-point checking to ensure strict adherence to the restrictions and prevent any entry of heavy vehicles into the prohibited zones. Special teams have been formed for crowd management and to handle emergency situations.
