State Women's Commission Vice Chairperson Inspires Girls in Fatehgarh, Celebrates 'Kanya Janmotsav'

Empowerment and Awareness in Fatehgarh

In Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad district, State Women's Commission Vice Chairperson Smt. Charu Chaudhary participated in various programs on Sunday, where she imparted lessons on empowerment and safety to young girls.

At an interactive session held at the Government Girls' Inter College, Fatehgarh, she provided detailed information to students on preventing cybercrimes and the positive and negative aspects of social media. Addressing the girls, Smt. Chaudhary stated that nothing is impossible for daughters in today's era.

She advised them to set life goals with hard work and dedication, and encouraged them to express their thoughts and problems. She emphasized that hard work will lead them forward in life.

Celebrating New Beginnings: 'Kanya Janmotsav'

Following this, Smt. Charu Chaudhary visited the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Combined Hospital for Women, where she participated in the 'Kanya Janmotsav' (Daughter's Birthday Celebration) event for newborn girls. She cut a cake to celebrate the babies' birthdays.

She distributed toys, Himalaya Baby Kits, sweets, and a Tulsi plant to 20 newborn girls, encouraging them. The objective of this initiative was to spread awareness against social evils like female feticide.

Inspections of Educational Institutions and Old Age Home

During her visit, the Vice Chairperson of the State Women's Commission also inspected the Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya in Kamalgang. She assessed the quality of the girls' attire and meals and gave instructions for improvement. She personally met with the girls to inspire them towards a bright future.

In the same vein, she inspected an old age home and gathered information from the elderly residents regarding their health and diet. She directed that the service of the elderly residents in the ashram be prioritized, as they are like our parents.

Present on the occasion were District Probation Officer Anil Chandra, all the teachers of the Government Girls' Inter College, District Mission Coordinator Neha Mishra, Protection Officer Sachin Singh, Gender Specialist Kumudini Raman, CMS Women, Gender Specialist Nirmala Devi, Ruchi Singh from the Adoption Unit, and Account Assistant Ritam Shakya, along with several other officials and staff.
