Major Development Projects Inaugurated in Guna

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, Union Minister for Communications and North Eastern Region Development, Jyotiraditya Scindia, formally launched various development projects worth crores in Guna. These initiatives include a transformative theme road, beautification works, and crucial road and electricity sector projects.

The flagship project is a seven-kilometer-long theme road from Chintaharan Temple to Ambedkar Chowk, with an estimated cost of 30.47 crore rupees. Funded by the CSR funds of GAIL and HFCL, this project aims to give Guna a new identity and accelerate industrial activities.

'Development and Heritage' Vision Realized

Minister Scindia stated that this undertaking embodies Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mantra of 'Development and Heritage'. The theme road will feature special artistic carvings at its entrance, showcasing the city's religious and cultural grandeur. A magnificent arch will be constructed from Hanuman Chauraha to Ambedkar Chowk, where a statue of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar will be installed, enhancing the city's beauty with special lighting at night.

Strengthening Infrastructure

In a bid to bolster the region's infrastructure, Minister Scindia also inaugurated the Vinayak Khedi-Muhalpur-Khejra road, which will significantly improve local connectivity. Furthermore, to promote industrial development, a 33/11 KV sub-station in the New Industrial Area was dedicated to the public, ensuring uninterrupted power supply vital for industrial operations.

New Momentum for Public Service and Development

The program also saw the launch of the Jan Seva Connect Guna Post Office, marking a step towards improved postal services for citizens. Minister Scindia expressed confidence that these projects will inject new momentum into the development of the Guna parliamentary constituency, with the beautification of the city's entrance serving as a source of pride and establishing a new identity for Guna.
