Campaign Against Corruption and Election Malpractice
The primary objective of showcasing the Ramleela Maidan event on the yatra route was to spread awareness nationwide about issues such as donation theft and vote theft. The Saty Sanatan Swabhiman Yatra primarily advocates for the transparent utilization of donations and offerings made by devotees at religious sites.
Yatra Route and Overnight Stay
The yatra commenced with a foot march from Kalipith on Sunday morning as per the predetermined schedule. The caravan passed through various areas including villages like Bananiya, Kharparas, Bhawanipura, Chowki Chanderpura, and Sanwasda. Villagers extended a warm welcome and participated at several locations along the route.
After lunch and rest in the afternoon, the yatra proceeded in its second phase through villages like Badi Murali and Geila Ka Pura, heading towards Nayapura Jod. The yatra's overnight stay has been arranged at a cowshed located in Nayapura Jod, Chachauda tehsil, Guna district.
Objectives and Background of the Yatra
Notably, this approximately 930-kilometer-long foot march began on October 20th, the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, from the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain and will ultimately reach the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. The yatra's core aim is to disseminate the message of truth, justice, compassion, and harmony of the Sanatan Dharma to every citizen.
Furthermore, the yatra is prominently raising demands for the proper utilization of religious donations and impartial investigations into cases of electoral malpractice. The enthusiasm of the local citizens during the yatra was remarkable, with events concluding peacefully in various villages.
