Dhabla Gram Panchayat By-election Results Declared

The results for the by-election to the vacant Sarpanch post in Dhabla Gram Panchayat, under the Narsinghgarh Janpad Panchayat, have been announced. In this significant election, Ranjana emerged victorious and was declared the winner. Following the election results, the official certificate of election was handed over to her by the Returning Officer.

The polling process for the Dhabla Gram Panchayat by-election took place peacefully on September 29, 2026, at three polling centers: numbers 222, 223, and 224. A total of 1445 voters exercised their franchise in this by-election to choose the new Sarpanch.

Close Contest for Sarpanch Position

A keen contest was observed for the Sarpanch post, with three female candidates vying for the position. The counting of votes, conducted in three phases, commenced at 8:00 AM on Saturday at the Returning Officer's office. The vote counting process was completed in three stages.

Ranjana Maintains Lead Throughout Counting

Throughout the different phases of vote counting, Ranjana consistently maintained a lead. In the first phase, Ranjana received 288 votes, while Sangeeta W/o Dinesh Bairagi secured 134 votes, and Shyamabai W/o Mukesh Jat garnered 56 votes. One voter opted for None of the Above (NOTA).

After the second phase of counting, Ranjana strengthened her position with 270 votes, whereas Sangeeta received 169 and Shyamabai got 31 votes. In this phase, NOTA received nine votes.

In the final, third phase, Ranjana secured 382 votes, compared to Sangeeta's 79 and Shyamabai's 24. Two votes were cast in favor of NOTA.

Ranjana Secures Highest Votes

Following the counting of votes across all three phases, Ranjana achieved a victory by securing the highest number of votes with a total of 940 votes. Her closest rival, Sangeeta W/o Dinesh Bairagi, received a total of 382 votes. Shyamabai W/o Mukesh Jat had to be content with 111 votes. Additionally, a total of 12 voters chose the NOTA option in this by-election.

Election Certificate Presented to Victorious Candidate

Upon her victory, the victorious candidate, Ranjana, was presented with the certificate of election by administrative officials. Present throughout the entire process were Subdivisional Officer Police Ramsaneh Chauhan, Tehsildar and Returning Officer Anagrika Kanojia, Executive Magistrate Sunita, along with Sanjeev Verma, Dilipkumar Sahu, Kaushalkumar Sharma, Amit Bandhu, Jitendra Gurjar, Kamal Kishor Bhandari, and Patwari Bhagwansingh.

Police forces from Narsinghgarh, Malavar, and Boda were deployed to maintain law and order. The electoral process was conducted peacefully under the supervision of the officials.
