District-Level Coordination Meeting Held

A significant meeting of the District Level Coordination and Review Committee was organized at the Narsinghpur Collectorate meeting hall. The meeting was chaired by Collector Smt. Rajni Singh and attended by RBI LDO Ankush Sinha, Lead District Manager Vikas Pawar, officials from various departments, and district coordinators of banks.

Assessment of Banking Activities and Loan Progress

The primary objective of the meeting was to conduct a detailed assessment of banking activities operational in the district and the progress of providing loan facilities to beneficiaries through government schemes. During the meeting, the Collector conducted an intensive review of the deposit-credit ratio until June 2026, the Annual Credit Plan, and bank-wise advance achievements. A thorough discussion was also held on the current status of Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) in the district.

Review of Welfare Schemes

The progress of various public welfare schemes was also reviewed. This included the Pradhan Mantri Svanidhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, and the work of self-help groups formed under the National Rural Livelihood Mission.

Discussion on Other Schemes and Loan Cases

Further discussions encompassed the status of schemes related to important departments such as Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Tribal Affairs, Antyavsayi, and Horticulture. Information was sought on efforts to connect rural youth with self-employment and skill development through RSETI, and the work in this direction was reviewed.

Directives for Achieving Loan Targets

Emphasizing the timely achievement of targets set for the financial year 2026-27, Collector Rajni Singh stated clearly that it is the primary responsibility of bank and departmental officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach eligible beneficiaries with speed. She directed that there should be no unnecessary delay in the disposal of loan cases. If any technical or procedural obstacles arise at the bank level, the concerned departmental officer must immediately establish contact with the bank coordinators to ensure a swift resolution.

The Collector encouraged all officials to work with mutual coordination so that more and more eligible citizens can benefit from government schemes. She also instructed continuous monitoring of the target-wise and time-bound progress of schemes to maintain consistency in development work.
