Electoral Roll Updation Underway in Guna

In compliance with the directives of the Election Commission of India, the process of updating the electoral rolls in Guna district is in full swing. Special camps are being organized with the objective of including the names of eligible citizens in the list.

As part of this process, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are conducting door-to-door verification of voters' details to prepare an error-free electoral roll. Citizens can apply for registration by filling out Form-6.

The BLOs are particularly encouraging young citizens to register as first-time voters and are informing them about the complete registration procedure. Detailed information about this process is also being provided to villagers to ensure no eligible citizen is left out of the list.

Officials Oversee Progress at Polling Stations

The district administration is continuously monitoring the progress of this campaign. In this regard, SDM Shivani Pandey conducted surprise inspections of polling stations in Banskhedi and Ghosipura areas of the city. She reviewed the ongoing work and provided necessary instructions to the BLOs.

Meanwhile, Tehsildar Sunil Verma visited the village of Tillikheda and obtained detailed information about the work being carried out by the BLOs. The proactive involvement of the officials has accelerated the electoral roll correction efforts.

The administration has appealed to all eligible citizens to actively participate in this campaign to ensure an accurate and inclusive electoral roll for the upcoming elections.
