Main Entrance Traffic Restored After Culvert Repair

Traffic at the main entrance of Narmadapuram District Hospital has become smooth again. As part of a special sanitation and maintenance campaign within the hospital premises, a damaged culvert over a drain at the main entrance has been repaired.

This repair work has resolved the significant difficulties faced by patients, their families, and ambulances in entering the hospital complex. A few days prior, the damaged culvert had completely obstructed traffic from the hospital's main entrance.

This situation not only caused problems in transporting patients to the hospital but also led to the hospital staff struggling with accumulated garbage and waterlogging at the entrance. Recognizing the severity of the situation, the sanitation team took immediate action.

Sanitation and Repair Campaign Underway

Anurag Tiwari, Nodal Officer for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, stated that the sanitation campaign in the city continues under the direction of Municipal President Neetu Mahendra Yadav and Chief Municipal Officer Vaibhav Deshmukh. Following information received from the district hospital, a sanitation team led by Ram Singh reached the site and commenced repair work.

After approximately two hours of strenuous effort, the team successfully fixed the damaged culvert. Subsequently, a fire brigade vehicle was called to thoroughly clean the area with high-pressure water. This prompt and effective action has led to the smooth restoration of traffic from the hospital's main entrance.

This repair and cleaning initiative has brought significant relief to patients and their families accessing the hospital. The administration has reiterated its commitment to maintaining cleanliness around the hospital premises in the future.
