According to the Jyotish Math Sansthan in Bhopal, the retrograde planet Jupiter will rise in the western sky on August 10th at 5:19 AM. Astrological calculations indicate that Jupiter's emergence during the Adra Nakshatra period will bring about climatic changes and strengthen the conditions for rainfall, suggesting the possibility of good showers.
The institute's astrologer and forecaster, Pandit Vinod Gautam, stated that Jupiter's rise on a Monday, coinciding with celestial yogas, is a significant indicator of weather shifts. The Indian astrological tradition associates eight constellations with monsoon rainfall.
Ashlesha Nakshatra and Jupiter's Combined Influence
Currently, rainfall has been progressing through Ashlesha, the fourth constellation, since August 3rd. Pandit Gautam explained that due to Ashlesha Nakshatra's vehicle being a horse and its ruler being Mars, fragmented rainfall patterns are observed at present. However, Jupiter's rise is expected to bolster these conditions, potentially leading to a more intense spell of rain.
Jupiter is currently positioned in the Cancer sign and has been in a retrograde state since July 15th. Astrologers anticipate an increase in rainfall activities immediately following Jupiter's reappearance. This period could witness a renewed phase of heavy downpours during the ongoing Shravan month, with favorable conditions for substantial rainfall across many parts of the country.
