Bareilly Zone Leads IGRS Ranking for October

The Bareilly Zone has achieved the top spot statewide in the October rankings for the effective and timely resolution of grievances under the Uttar Pradesh government's ambitious public grievance redressal system (IGRS). This accomplishment is attributed to the efficient leadership of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajay Kumar Sahani, whose regular review of complaints and swift resolution mechanism has been instrumental.

This success highlights how a systematic approach and dedication can yield excellent results in public service. The district of Badaun within the Bareilly Zone also secured the top position at the state level, further enhancing the zone's reputation. Additionally, a collective of 64 police stations within the Bareilly Zone jointly secured the first place, setting a new benchmark for the police department's efficiency.

Police Personnel to be Honored for Exemplary Work

The DIG Ajay Kumar Sahani has announced that police personnel who contributed to this significant achievement will be rewarded. This recognition aims not only to acknowledge individual efforts but also to inspire other officers towards better performance. Sub-Inspector Shalu, Computer Operator Amrendra Kumar, and Constable Salil Saxena will receive cash prizes and commendation certificates for their outstanding work.

The DIG emphasized that accountability and transparency towards public grievances are the top priorities for the police department. He also clarified that the performance of police stations that have not met satisfactory standards will undergo a thorough review, and necessary corrective measures will be implemented to ensure a uniform high standard of operation across all stations.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

DIG Sahani assured that the swift resolution of public issues will continue to be ensured with similar promptness and sensitivity in the future. This ranking signifies not just an improvement in the police system but also reflects the police's responsiveness to the public. Monitoring will continue to ensure consistent improvement in the zone's performance, providing citizens with a better policing experience.
