A horrific road accident occurred on Sunday night on Bareilly's Kila Bridge, resulting in the death of one person and several others sustaining serious injuries. The incident was caused by the negligence of a truck driver who was allegedly intoxicated.

Witnesses reported that the truck, moving at an uncontrolled speed, collided with multiple vehicles, creating chaos at the scene. The truck continued its destructive path, plowing into several vehicles before finally coming to a halt inside Satyaprakash Park.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as one of pandemonium, with people screaming and fleeing for their lives. The truck first violently struck several vehicles on the road. The carnage continued until the truck eventually crashed into Satyaprakash Park.

The heart-wrenching incident on Sunday night on Kila Bridge has once again highlighted the severe consequences of driving under the influence. According to eyewitnesses, a speeding truck from the night first began to brutally crush other small and large vehicles present on the road.

Injuries and Fatalities

The impact was so severe that several vehicles did not move from their spots, while others were badly damaged. Chaos erupted on the route, with people screaming and running for their lives. The truck's rampage continued, hitting several vehicles before finally stopping inside Satyaprakash Park.

The truck's speed somewhat reduced after entering the park, but significant damage had already been done. Several people were injured in this accident and were immediately transported to nearby hospitals with the help of locals.

Victim Succumbs to Injuries

Among the injured, Azim Mian, a 40-year-old resident of Jakira, Kubripakar, son of Wazir Khan, was reported to be in the most critical condition. He was immediately admitted to the hospital for intensive treatment, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The news of Azim Mian's death cast a pall of grief over his family. Local police arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the accident and assessed the situation.

Police Investigation Underway

According to the police, several other individuals, including Afzal Hussain, a resident of Kanghi Tola in the Kila police station area, were also injured in the accident and are currently receiving treatment.

The police immediately took the damaged truck into their custody. Preliminary investigations revealed that the truck driver was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. This serious negligence led to the accident. The police are preparing to take further legal action in this matter.
