Memorandum Submitted to District Magistrate

Contractual meter readers of the electricity department in Farrukhabad have submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate concerning their pending demands. The employees, led by union leader Shiv Trivedi, have leveled serious accusations of gross negligence against the Tera Software Billing Agency.

Allegations of Negligence and Financial Irregularity

The employees stated that the agency was entrusted with the task of generating electricity bills door-to-door. However, since the new company took over, the payment process has become chaotic. The primary grievance of the employees is the irregular payment of their salaries. Furthermore, their Provident Fund (PF) contributions are not being deposited on time.

The non-receipt of salaries for September and October 2026 has plunged these employees into a severe financial crisis, even during major festivals like Diwali, casting a shadow over their families' celebrations.

Demand for Immediate Intervention

In the memorandum, the meter readers have leveled serious allegations of financial irregularities against Tera Software Billing Agency. They contend that the agency is not adequately compensating employees for their labor and is jeopardizing their future security. The delayed PF deposit is a significant concern for employees as it directly impacts their long-term financial stability.

Prominent among the employees who submitted the memorandum were Rajat Mishra, Ahmed Nagri, Salman Ali, Vipin Kumar, Rajat, Brijesh, Amit, Sumit Kumar, Pramod Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Ashish Rana, and Sandeep. They have urged the District Magistrate to intervene immediately in the matter.

The employees are demanding that clear instructions be issued to the concerned agency to ensure the immediate payment of salaries and PF contributions, providing them with financial relief and enabling them to celebrate the festival with their families.
