Officials inspected the ongoing construction of the grand Guru रविदास temple in Badhtuma, Sagar, anticipating it to be a major center for social harmony.

Temple Construction Site Inspected in Badhtuma
Shri Madhav Ahirwar, the State President of the All India Ravidasia Dharam Sangathan, along with Shri Mihilal Ahirwar, the President of the Makronia Municipal Council, conducted an inspection of the construction site for the grand and divine temple of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Maharaj in Badhtuma, Sagar district. During this visit, both leaders took a detailed overview of the progress of the ongoing construction work.
They also gathered information from the concerned officials regarding the quality of construction and the possibilities of its completion within the stipulated timeline. Following the inspection, Shri Madhav Ahirwar highlighted the significance of the under-construction temple, stating that this site will become a major center for social harmony, spiritual consciousness, and devotion. He also praised and thanked Narayali MLA Engg. Shri Pradeep Laria for his oversight in the implementation of this project.
“The construction of this grand temple is taking place in his constituency, which is a matter of pride for the region,” stated Shri Ahirwar.
Progress and Significance of Temple Construction
This temple, being built at a cost of ₹101 crore in the Sagar district, is part of one of the largest Sant Ravidas temples and art museums in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for this ambitious project on August 12, 2023. Currently, approximately 50-60% of the temple's work is complete, reflecting the pace of construction.
The objective of this project is not only to build a religious site but also for it to become a significant center for art and culture, preserving the thoughts and teachings of Ravidas Ji. A large number of other office bearers from the All India Ravidasia Dharam Sangathan and followers of Guru Ravidas were present at this inspection, along with Shri Madhav Ahirwar and Shri Mihilal Ahirwar. Their presence highlighted the community's enthusiasm and support for the temple construction.
