“My brother's release is in its decisive phase. PTI workers will not retreat.”

Alima Khan also alleged that unnecessary restrictions are being imposed on Imran Khan in jail, aimed at politically isolating him. She further claimed that visits from his family and access to adequate medical facilities are being hindered.

Previously, Alima Khan had emphasized that any political settlement would only be acceptable based on the restoration of an independent judiciary and fair, impartial elections.

Growing Human Rights Concerns

Concerns regarding Imran Khan's prison conditions have also been raised internationally. The human rights organization Amnesty International has called for the protection of his legal rights and human rights, and for respect for the judicial process.

The PTI accuses the jail administration of obstructing meetings and essential facilities despite court orders, which they deem a violation of human rights.
