Gwalior District Collector Ruchika Chauhan has set a remarkable example of service to humanity by donating blood herself at a camp organized at the District Hospital, Murar, as part of the 'Seva-Sankalp Abhiyan' (Service Pledge Campaign). Her action sends an inspiring message to those willing to voluntarily contribute to saving the lives of the needy in society.

This campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and address blood shortages. After donating blood, Collector Chauhan addressed the attendees, stating that a single unit of blood can be a beacon of new hope for a needy family. She specifically urged all government officials and employees to actively participate in this noble cause.

She emphasized that alongside administrative responsibilities, fulfilling social and humanitarian duties is a paramount obligation for every individual.
