Guna: 12 Armed Thugs Loot Rs 3 Crore from Panchayat Secretary's Home

Massive Robbery in Guna Village

In a shocking incident, a group of approximately 12 to 15 armed bandits executed a large-scale robbery late last night in Chak Churela village, under Fatehgarh police station in the Bhamori assembly constituency of Guna district. The target was the home of a Panchayat Secretary, from whom the intruders looted property estimated to be worth around three crore rupees.

Nighttime Raid on Secretary's Residence

The incident occurred around 2:30 AM. The victim, Panchayat Secretary Pawan Meena, reported that 10 to 12 armed individuals forced their way into his home. The assailants were equipped with weapons and tools, which they used to break open the house's locks and windows. They then barricaded the room where the family was sleeping from the inside before proceeding to steal valuables.

Stolen Assets Valued at Rs 3 Crore

According to initial reports, the robbers made off with a significant haul, including approximately 2.5 kilograms of gold, 6 kilograms of silver, Rs 6 lakh from the temple, Rs 5 lakh in cash from the house, and a CD Deluxe motorcycle. The total value of the stolen property is estimated to be around three crore rupees. This audacious robbery has sent ripples of alarm through the police department.

Police Launch Investigation, Search for Suspects

Upon receiving information, senior police officials immediately proceeded to the crime scene. District Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal stated that police forces arrived promptly and have begun an investigation. She assured that all emerging aspects of the case would be shared and affirmed the police's continuous efforts to swiftly crack the case. The police are currently investigating the matter, and a search for the absconding culprits is underway.
