A dedicated health screening camp was successfully organized at the Ayushman Arogya Mandir in Goriya Kheda, with a strong emphasis on the early detection and prevention of non-communicable diseases. The initiative, spearheaded under the strategic direction of Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal and guided by Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Rajkumar Rishishwar, provided professional medical evaluations for 59 local villagers.

The event prioritized the health of vulnerable segments of the community. Medical teams conducted essential blood sugar and blood pressure screenings for pregnant women to ensure their well-being throughout gestation. Furthermore, specialized consultations were offered to elderly residents aged 70 and above, as well as individuals already managing chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. These consultations focused on providing tailored medical advice aligned with their ongoing treatment plans.

Community Health Dialogue

Beyond clinical assessments, an informative health dialogue was led by Vinita Pushpad. She engaged the community, including the village Sarpanch, local Anganwadi workers, and numerous residents, to discuss effective preventative strategies. The discussion highlighted measures against high blood pressure, diabetes, and common seasonal ailments, underscoring the importance of a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and a healthy lifestyle to mitigate long-term health risks.

Expansion of Screening Programs

District advisor Satyendra Sharma announced plans to extend these vital health screening programs to all health institutions and Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across the district. The initiative aims to ensure active participation from Jan Arogya Samiti members to bolster community engagement in health matters. This collaborative approach is intended to improve the timely identification, treatment, and prevention of non-communicable diseases throughout the region.

The program reflects a broader commitment to enhancing public health accessibility and awareness in rural areas. It underscores the administration's focus on proactive disease management and the promotion of wellness through consistent medical outreach and community-based health education initiatives. The systematic effort seeks to strengthen the overall public health infrastructure and empower residents with knowledge about maintaining optimal health.
