Ganeshotsav Begins at Madhav College with Traditional Rituals

Ganeshotsav has commenced at Madhav College in Gwalior with great enthusiasm and traditional religious customs. The auspicious idol of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, was installed on the college campus, marked by a special event.

This occasion served as an excellent example of religious harmony, bringing together the academic community. The revered priest of Gupteshwar Mahadev Temple, Pandit Pradeep Sharma, performed the entire ritual with chanting and blessings, adhering strictly to the prescribed methods.

Pandit Sharma, known for his Vedic knowledge and ritualistic practices, invoked Lord Ganesha through sacred mantras. The college Principal, Dr. Shivkumar Sharma, personally performed the puja and installed the idol with due ceremony.

Principal Dr. Shivkumar Sharma, while expressing his thoughts on this auspicious occasion, highlighted the significance of Ganeshotsav and urged everyone to remain inspired by positive energy.

Present on this occasion were also the college's teacher representative Dr. Manoj Awasthi and the convener of the Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell, Dr. Santosh Sharma. The participation of teachers and staff in the Ganeshotsav inauguration was notable.

The esteemed presence of senior teachers such as Dr. Sanjay Kumar Pandey (R.S.E.O. Program Officer), Dr. Rajesh Mishra (IQAC Cell In-charge), Dr. Vijay Pandey, Dr. Vikas Shukla, and Dr. Rakesh Karheria graced the event, enhancing its grandeur and underscoring the college's commitment to Ganeshotsav.

Several other administrative and academic staff members, including Veer Singh, Upendra Kasture, Vaibhav Moghe, Pradeep Sharma, and Pulendar Singh Rajak, also participated in this religious event. Their active involvement ensured that this festival became a memorable experience for the college family.

All teachers and staff present on the college campus prayed to Lord Ganesha for happiness, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles. The collective prayer created a devotional and spiritual atmosphere.
