Four Brothers Drown in Madhya Pradesh Well

In a devastating incident, four young brothers lost their lives after accidentally falling into a well in Vikrampur village, located in the Chanderi area of Madhya Pradesh's Ashoknagar district. The profound grief of the family was palpable as all four siblings were cremated together, a testament to the magnitude of their loss.
The tragic event occurred on a Monday afternoon when the four brothers, identified as the sons of Balveer Singh Kushwaha, were playing near a well situated approximately half a kilometer from their village. Tragically, they fell into the well and drowned.
Victims Identified
The deceased children have been identified as Dev, aged 9; Tridev, aged 7; Mahadev, aged 6; and Priyansh, aged 4. All four were the biological sons of Balveer Singh Kushwaha, a resident of Vikrampur village.
Circumstances of the Incident
Initial reports indicate that the young boys ventured close to the agricultural well while engaged in play. The exact sequence of events leading to their fall remains under investigation, but the outcome was a heart-wrenching tragedy for the family and the local community.
Administrative Response
Confirming the incident, Dilip Daroga, the Tehsildar of Chanderi, stated that the victim family would be provided with financial assistance as per the rules under RBC 6 (4). This measure aims to offer some support to the grieving family during this incredibly difficult time.
