Disability Aid and Women's Health Camps Begin in Farrukhabad

Farrukhabad | September 20, 2026

The SN Sadh Trust is organizing special camps in Farrukhabad with the aim of improving the health of disabled individuals and women. The primary objective of these initiatives is to deliver essential health services to the underprivileged sections of society and empower them.

Free Disability Assistance Camp

The Trust will conduct a free disability assistance camp from October 22nd to 24th at the service center located opposite NAKP Degree College. The camp will operate daily from 9 AM to 2 PM.

According to camp coordinator Rakesh Sadh, assistive devices such as artificial legs, calipers, crutches, and artificial hands will be provided free of charge to disabled individuals. Additionally, individuals with hearing impairments will undergo examinations and receive hearing aids to improve their auditory capabilities.

Health Expert Services for the Disabled

Specialist doctors will be available at the camp to provide health examinations for disabled individuals. Orthopedic specialist Dr. Subodh Verma and ENT specialist Dr. Shikhar Saxena will offer their services.

Participants in the disability camp must bring photocopies of their Aadhaar card and certificates to ensure identification and eligibility.

Awareness Initiative for Women's Health

Giving special priority to women's health, the 'Priya Nari Swasthya Shivir' (Dear Women's Health Camp) will be organized on October 18th. Organizers believe that a lack of awareness persists in rural areas regarding crucial health issues like menstruation, nutrition, and anemia.

This camp aims to provide women with gynecological consultations and proper guidance, enabling them to become more health-conscious. The Trust has urged all women in the region to benefit from this health camp and encourage their friends and family members to also get checked.

Environmental Awareness

Efforts will also be made to raise public awareness about environmental protection during the health camps. This initiative is a significant step towards integrating vulnerable sections of society into the mainstream and providing them with better healthcare facilities.
