Key Trains Demanded at Kareli Station
A delegation of prominent citizens and public representatives from Narsinghpur district met with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. During this meeting, they presented the region's major railway issues and public expectations to the minister.
Held through the special efforts of MP Darshan Singh, the meeting facilitated a productive discussion between local representatives and the Railway Minister regarding the necessity of stops for several important trains at Kareli Railway Station and the expansion of railway facilities.
Infrastructure Development and Budget Allocation
Rakesh Badkur, President of the Narmadanchal Journalist Association and an Alderman of Kareli, along with other representatives, informed the Railway Minister that strengthening railway facilities is crucial for the all-round development of the region. They primarily demanded stops for significant trains at Kareli Station, including the Jabalpur-Mumbai Garib Rath, Jabalpur-Pune Superfast, Jabalpur-Sridham Express, Bengaluru-Danapur Sanghamitra Express, and Mumbai-Varanasi Mahanagari Express.
The delegation not only requested train stops but also drew the Railway Minister's attention to critical issues concerning the necessary budget allocation for proposed railway lines. Following the robust presentation of these demands to the Railway Minister, the region's residents now anticipate a positive decision in this regard.

Local residents believe that if stops for these major trains are ensured at Kareli Station, it will significantly facilitate travel for passengers not only from Kareli city but also from surrounding areas, thereby boosting regional development.
