Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrated with Grandeur in Farrukhabad

The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with immense devotion and fervor across various parts of Farrukhabad city and district on Monday. Devotees installed idols of Lord Ganesha in their homes and public pandals during auspicious timings, filling the atmosphere with auspiciousness.

With approximately 250 idols installed across the city, the entire region was immersed in the spirit of Ganesh Utsav. People actively involved in the preparations welcomed 'Bappa' with great enthusiasm and fanfare on Monday.

Idol Installations and Celebrations

Prior to the idol installations, the puja sites were decorated in an attractive manner. The excitement among devotees was palpable as they carried the idols of Ganpati Bappa. The installation ceremonies at various pandals were completed amidst the resounding beat of drums and the triumphant chants of 'Ganpati Bappa Moriya'.

Home Celebrations and Public Pandals

Families in various neighborhoods of the city also installed Lord Ganesha idols in their homes. Family members collectively performed the Ganesh Puja. This occasion witnessed a special enthusiasm for Ganesh Utsav among all, from children to the elderly.

Devotees offered durva grass, flowers, modaks, and various other offerings to worship Lord Ganesha. The public pandals, set up at public places, were beautifully adorned with colorful streamers and flowers. The process of transporting idols to homes and pandals began on Monday morning and continued until late evening.

Devotees were seen transporting idols on tractor-trolleys, e-rickshaws, and other vehicles at numerous locations. Major routes and markets experienced considerable hustle and bustle during this period. As evening fell, large crowds of devotees began gathering at the pandals to behold the installed idols, spreading a festive atmosphere throughout the region.
