Farewell Ceremony for Rishi Om Tiwari

In Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, a heartwarming farewell ceremony was organized at the office of the Department of Fisheries for Assistant Fisheries Officer Rishi Om Tiwari. The event marked his transfer to Narsinghpur and his promotion opportunity. Department colleagues and representatives of fishermen were present, reminiscing about his contributions and expressing that his absence will be felt.

Speaking at the ceremony, Surendra Kurmi, Assistant Director, Department of Fisheries, Damoh district, stated that Rishi Om Tiwari's transfer from Damoh will indeed be felt. He emphasized that promotions and transfers are a normal part of government policy. During his tenure as Fisheries Inspector in Damoh, Rishi Om Tiwari had done commendable work in ensuring fishermen benefited from government schemes.

Achievements and Personal Relationships

Rishikant Pathak, Assistant Officer, Department of Fisheries, Damoh district, clarified that this is not merely a transfer but a promotion. Rishi Om Tiwari, promoted from the post of Fisheries Inspector, will now assume his duties as Assistant Fisheries Officer in Narsinghpur. He expressed happiness, stating it is a matter of pride for Damoh that their officer has been promoted, but also acknowledged the sadness of his departure.

Working in the same place for a long time fosters personal relationships with departmental officials and employees, and working with Mr. Tiwari was a pleasant experience. The length of service and his responsibilities in various districts were also highlighted.

Brief Service History

Addressing the farewell gathering, Assistant Fisheries Officer Rishi Om Tiwari gave a brief overview of his service history. He mentioned that prior to joining the fisheries department, he served as a Janashikshak CAC in the Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, until 2012-13. In 2012-13, he secured the second position in the general category for the post of Fisheries Inspector in the state-level entrance examination, marking the beginning of his service in the field of fisheries.

He also played significant roles related to fisheries management in the districts of Katni and Neemuch. His dedication and contributions to the fisheries sector were acknowledged by all attendees.
