Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has launched his 'Satya Sanatan Swabhiman Yatra' from Ujjain. The padyatra, or foot march, is proceeding as per schedule.
The journey's final destination is set for Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on December 20, where a formal conclusion is planned. The primary objective of this yatra is to express respect for Sanatan Dharma and establish public contact.
Key Stages and Route
In the initial phases, Digvijaya Singh will visit the Ramraja Sarkar temple in Orchha on November 27. Approximately 15 kilometers will be covered from Orchha to the village of Don in the Babina assembly constituency.
Throughout the padyatra, Mr. Singh will stop daily in various villages and towns, engaging in direct dialogue with local residents. Organizers have arranged for refreshments and rest stops at different locations along the route to ensure the comfort of the participants.
Prominent figures such as Yogendra Singh Pariksha and Ashok Kumar Singh Dangi are among the key organizers of this yatra. The route will traverse through significant areas including Jhansi, Chirgaon, Samthar, Poonch, Jakholi, and Orai.
Journey Through Uttar Pradesh
The yatra will cross the Madhya Pradesh border and proceed through various districts of Uttar Pradesh. Local Congress workers and leaders in these regions are closely monitoring the arrangements.
On November 28, the yatra will commence from Don village and head towards the Badagaon highway, with planned stops at various points.
December Itinerary and Major Cities
During December, the yatra's pace will focus on other districts of Uttar Pradesh. Between December 8 and 10, the yatra is expected to reach Pukhrayan, Kanpur Dehat, and the Maharajpur area of Kanpur.
Subsequently, from December 11 to 14, the yatra will proceed through Unnao and Lucknow, heading towards Ramsnehi Ghat in Barabanki. At these major stops, various programs will be organized under the supervision of senior leaders like Dharmaraj Singh, with significant roles for local leaders and workers.
Preparations for Ayodhya Conclusion
The final and most crucial phase of the yatra will be centered in Ayodhya on December 19 and 20. The official conclusion of the padyatra will take place on December 20 at the Naveen Mandi Gate, Raebareli Road, Ayodhya.
During this significant journey, the general public and local residents can connect with Rahul Richhariya, son of former minister Omprakash Richhariya, to become part of this yatra. Extensive arrangements for security and public outreach have been made to ensure the yatra reaches its destination successfully within the stipulated timeline.
Senior journalist and Political Editor Shashi Bhushan Dubey Kanchaniya has also announced his intention to join the padyatra with his team upon its arrival in Ayodhya. Through this yatra, Digvijaya Singh will present his views to the public through various public meetings and dialogue sessions.
The entire program of the yatra is determined in phases, with specific responsibilities assigned to local leaders as organizers for each stage. There is considerable enthusiasm among Congress workers regarding this important political and social initiative.
