Chief Minister Distributes Scooties Under State Scheme
As part of the Chief Minister's Scooty Distribution Scheme 2026, 125 meritorious students from Narmadapuram district were awarded free scooties. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav personally handed over these vehicles to the talented students at a state-level event held in Bhopal.
The primary objective of this initiative is to encourage students who achieved excellent results in the Secondary Education Board's Higher Secondary Examination 2026, enabling them to continue their further education without interruption. According to the scheme's regulations, only one male and one female student who studied in government schools and secured the first position in their respective institutions were deemed eligible for this benefit.
The state government has approved an amount of ₹90,000 for the purchase of motorized petrol scooties and up to ₹1,20,000 for electric scooties for these students.
125 Students from Narmadapuram District Benefit from the Scheme
District Education Officer LN Prajapati provided detailed information, stating that a total of 125 students from Narmadapuram district have benefited from this scheme, comprising 55 boys and 70 girls. Official data indicates that 57 students were eligible for electric scooties and 68 students for motorized petrol scooties from the district.
All eligible students have been provided with vehicles based on the criteria set by the government. This initiative is a significant component of the Madhya Pradesh government's educational incentive policies, aiming to provide modern means of transport to talented youth to pursue higher education. The scheme has generated considerable enthusiasm among the district's meritorious students, inspiring them to achieve even greater academic success.
