CEO Conducts Swift Inspection of Gram Panchayats Under Chief Minister's Jan Vishwas Abhiyan

As part of the Chief Minister's Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bhind District Panchayat, Shri Veersingh Chauhan, conducted a surprise inspection of Sunarpura, Parosa, and Pratappura Gram Panchayats on Friday. During the visit, he reviewed the progress of ongoing development works and public welfare schemes.

Focus on Education and Health

During the inspection, CEO Shri Chauhan specifically examined schools and Anganwadis. He expressed concern over low student attendance and instructed for meetings with parents to improve it, directing concerned officials to take immediate action. Shri Chauhan emphasized that no child should be deprived of education and ensured that all children's 'Apar ID's should be linked for scheme benefits.

He also inspected the mid-day meal program, mandating the provision of quality food as per the menu and the maintenance of cleanliness. He focused on lighting arrangements in schools and the availability of pure drinking water for children. Information was gathered on the status of tap water supply schemes, with instructions to ensure uninterrupted water delivery to villages.

Emphasis on Basic Facilities and Revenue Collection

Additionally, he directed all Gram Panchayats to collect property tax, water tax, electricity tax, and sanitation tax on time to ensure resources for local development works. He also instructed that all records be updated and accurate.
