Grand Welcome for Guru Ravidas Rath Yatra in Balrampur

Balrampur, August 3, 2026 - The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Balrampur organized a magnificent welcome for the Rath Yatra of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Maharaj on Monday evening. Led by Municipal President Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh Dhiru, party senior officials performed Aarti and offered prayers to honor the procession.

During the event, blessings were sought for the happiness, prosperity, good health, social harmony, and public welfare of all citizens. The welcome procession, accompanied by workers from the Adarsh Nagar Mandal, passed through various locations where devotees enthusiastically greeted the yatra.

The journey commenced with prayers and greetings at the Shri Valmiki Temple in Nai Basti. A large crowd gathered at the Bada Pul intersection, while the procession was welcomed with a shower of flowers and chants of victory at Canal Balaganj. A significant gathering also assembled at the Vishunipur intersection, where an Aarti and prayer ceremony was held. A rousing welcome and Aarti were performed upon the yatra's arrival at the Shri Ravidas Temple in Khalwa.
