Bhopal to Host Second International Astrology Festival Honoring 151 Scholars

Second International Astrology Festival in Bhopal

The city of lakes, Bhopal, will be the host of the Second International Astrology Festival and Award Ceremony on October 3 and 4, 2026. This two-day event, organized by the Jeevan Rekha Jyotish Shodh Sansthan, will honor 151 esteemed scholars in astrology, Vastu, Tantra, and other Vedic disciplines for their classical contributions.

According to the organizers, the honored scholars will be presented with shawls, coconuts, certificates, and mementos. The founder of the institute, Rajjyotishi Pandit Kripa Ram Upadhyay, stated that the primary objective of this festival is to preserve Sanatan Vedic knowledge.

Preserving Vedic Knowledge and Promoting Astrology

Key priorities of the program also include promoting the practice of authentic astrology through innovation and connecting the younger generation with the tradition of Rishis. Special sessions will be held focusing on the increasing relevance of predicting the country's and times' future, also known as Mundane Astrology.

Furthermore, scholars will present their views on the scientific aspects of Tantra Shastra. This grand event aims to advance Sanatan Vedic knowledge and Rishi traditions. The festival will not only serve as a platform for the preservation of Vedic knowledge but also prove to be a significant step towards adapting and reviving Rishi traditions to suit the modern era.
