Students Excel in Painting and Speech Competitions

At the Government Higher Secondary School in Umri, Bhind district, students demonstrated remarkable creativity and public speaking prowess during painting and speech competitions held as part of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026'. The primary objective of these events was to foster self-confidence, raise awareness of social issues, and enhance the ability of young individuals to articulate their thoughts in public.

The event was graced by the presence of Bhind MLA Narendra Singh Kushwah, who served as the chief guest. He commended the students' efforts and encouraged them, stating that such competitions are crucial for the holistic development of youth and prepare them for the future.

Art and Oratory Bring Themes to Life

In the painting competition, Prashant Yadav from Class 9 secured the first position, showcasing his artistic talent. Adarsh Yadav from Class 8 and Suman Yadav from Class 12 respectively clinched the second and third positions. These young artists adeptly captured social themes on canvas with sensitivity and impact.

The speech competition also saw outstanding performances. Mohini from Class 12 won the first prize with her compelling oratory skills. Kajal from Class 11 secured the second position, while Divyanshi from Class 9 took third place. Students eloquently presented their views on various social and creative topics, captivating the audience and judges alike.

Successful Event Acknowledges Contributions

The success of the event was significantly aided by the efforts of the school's Principal, Ramkumar Tiwari, and teacher Kuldeep Bohre. They praised the students' performances and motivated them to actively participate in similar activities in the future.
