Intensive Inspection Drive Launched in Bhind

The Regional Transport Office (RTO) and Traffic Police in Bhind city conducted a comprehensive inspection campaign at the main bus stand. The objective was to ensure passenger safety and maintain smooth traffic management across various routes.

The inspection team included RTO RK Soni, RTO Vishwapratap Singh, TSl Ashok Sharma, Traffic Station In-charge Indrapal Singh, and traffic police personnel such as Mohit Tomar. They meticulously verified the documents and safety standards of buses operating on different routes.

Thorough Verification of Bus Documents and Safety Standards

During the joint operation, officials thoroughly checked bus permits, fitness certificates, insurance, pollution control certificates, and drivers' licenses. The team emphasized the importance of adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining proper documentation for all vehicles.

Strict Directives Issued to Bus Operators

Officials issued stern instructions to bus drivers and operators, explicitly forbidding overloading of buses under any circumstances. They also stressed that buses should only stop at designated locations and that all necessary arrangements for passenger safety must be meticulously maintained.

The authorities clarified that the primary aim of this current operation was not to issue challans (fines) but to create awareness among bus drivers and operators regarding traffic rules. All bus operators were directed to ensure that their vehicles' essential documents are always complete and that all regulations are strictly followed.

Warning Issued Against Future Violations

The joint team issued a clear warning that in future inspections, any bus found operating without a permit, without meeting prescribed fitness standards, or found to be overloaded will face stringent action. Offenders will be subject to heavy fines, vehicle impoundment, and cancellation of permits, with no leniency shown.

The department reiterated that any future negligence in this matter will not be tolerated and actions will be taken strictly as per regulations.
