Police Conduct Special Checking Drive at Bhind Bus Stand

In the Dehat police station area of Bhind, the police conducted a special checking campaign at the bus stand with the objective of ensuring public safety, maintaining smooth traffic management, and preventing road accidents. This operation was organized following continuous reports received by the police regarding disputes and arguments among bus operators over picking up passengers in the bus stand area.

Taking these complaints and reports seriously, a police team led by Inspector Shivpratap Singh Rajawat established a checking point at the bus stand. During this time, passenger buses were thoroughly inspected. The police took action against bus drivers who were stopping buses in the middle of the road to pick up passengers, as such actions not only obstruct traffic but also increase the likelihood of road accidents.

Encroachment Drive Also Carried Out

During the campaign, the police also removed handcart operators who had illegally set up their carts on public routes around and at the bus stand, causing obstruction to movement. These operators were advised not to encroach on public routes and to conduct their businesses only at designated locations.

Under this special checking campaign, a total of 13 challans were issued, and a sum of ₹6500 was collected as compounding fees. The operation included Station House Officer Dehat Inspector Shivpratap Singh Rajawat, Sub-Inspectors Vijay Shivhare and Pramod Tomar, Head Constables Suratram, Ramkishor, and Jaiveer, Constables Manoj Vaish, Avdhesh Chauhan, Pradeep Yadav, Pawan Pandey, Amanat Khan, Dilip Shakya, Firoz Khan, Deepak Pandey, and other police officers and personnel.

Such campaigns help in ensuring the safety of passengers and maintaining order in public places.
