The Mineral Department in Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh, has carried out a major operation against illegal mineral extraction and storage. In coordination with officials from the Revenue Department and the Police, a team from the Mineral Department destroyed a substantial quantity of illegally accumulated sand near Baisali Dam, close to Keshav Park.
Acting on information received, the Mineral Department team inspected the site and, following due procedure, oversaw the destruction of the illegal sand pile. This joint operation aims to curb activities such as illegal mining, transportation, and storage within the district.
