Authority officials stated that individuals named Mehdi Hasan and Misal were illegally demarcating plots and constructing boundary walls on this land. Under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act-1973, plotting without permission is a legal offense, mandating demolition of such constructions.
